I can't recruit from anywhere , in all the villages i don't have the option to recruit people and in towns if i attempt to recruit "nobody wants to join you" please help me...i can't play this game without any soldiers...
i have my own village and i can't recruit even from there PLEASE HELP ME!!!!(i can't recruit from any villages even those with 10+ rep)

If you can see that but it won't let you recruit men, your renown is too low and you need to bribe the Village Elder. You can also hire men in Taverns.

I have 200 renown and i can't see the recruit tab in villages menu that's the horrible thing...I DON'T KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX THIS :(( i have the 3.6 version...like i said i have my own village and is the same thing i can't freakin see the recruit tab
PS:Also i don't have the bribe option from elder to recruit ...i tell you man it's a bug...and i don't know how to fix it...i restarted my whole game from the beggining and is the same thing for i don't know the first 10 days it's working i can recruit from the majority of the villages but then the option for recruit people doesn't show anymore...

I would save your game and redownload the mod from Moddb to make sure you don't have a corruption somewhere. I've never had this bug but it seems you and other are getting it. Let me know if a reinstall helps.

What level is your Leadership skill? Can you give yourself 10 in Leadership and see if you can recruit afterwards?

it isn't such a bad way to recruit ;) I usually hunt exiled knights only when they have a lot of units as prisoners...

That's how I get troops. I don't recruit from villages until the late game because of the costs of upgrading them.

Of course i started a new game in 3.6 i didn.t had a previous version i just started playing again this mod and like i said from day 10+ the option to recruit people or to bribe the elder does not exists anymore...
And i waited long enough i think a fat 40 50 in-game days...not working im telling you

Insulting the people trying to help you won't get you any closer to a solution I guess. To avoid dumb questions in future you could just write all necessary information in your opening post.

What charisma do you have? Whats your religion and the religion of the village? Have you tried recruiting from a village with the same religion as yours?
The recruit system is really problematic now :'(
It doesn't matter if you have positive or negative relations with the villages you own. The option to recruit peasants disapear once you own a village. You can only recruit from other faction. :'(
Is there any possibility of a hotfix? For now, i will stop my campaing. I can't take Winterfell from the Boltons before thw white walker invasion if I'm not able to recriut from my villages. :-\

I have no such problems, but sometimes I just need to talk with the Elder and bribe him when I'm recruiting for the first time after getting the village.
Same issue. After 10+ days can't recruit anyone from villages. All the villages only give the option to force recruitment. And before you ask all the things you asked the other guy, I tried everything. It's really annoying, since I can't really play the mod because I can't recruit troops without cheating now. :(
I need more information. I have done some test and waited upto 200 ingame days and can still recruit. So its not something obvious. I was thinking its to do with the religion code but im not so sure.
Well my party isn't full, my leadership was 3 in one game, 4 in the other etc. I tried multiple campaigns. I tried all religions. Old gods I tried to recruit Northerners, etc. Didn't work after a certain amount of days. I didn't have any wounds bringing my leadership down. My renown was high enough to recruit. I don't think your reputation is supposed to influence it, but I tried multiple campaigns. On one I had low rep, on the other high. Same thing happened, can't recruit villagers. That's all I can think of, if you have more ideas please tell because I am really desperate to fix the problem if I can :)

That's not quite true... I've recruited a lot more at once, even in 3.6... But I also have no problem with recruiting from my villages, so I quess not everybody have the same problem.

Okay, I hit the same problem. I made a new character and it seems to be lessened, but I'm still unable to recruit from about half the villages after 10 or so days. My old character was a valyrian female worshipping rhollor. new guy was a stormlands male I think, faith of the seven. Has to be some sort of variable with character creation.
Same bug I can only recruit from 3 Westerland village.
I am also running to recruitment issues. I have a character who was from the North, joined the Vale then recanted and set up shop in his own kingdom.
I can recruit from the North and from the Freefolk. I cannot recruit from the Vale, Westerlands, or the Reach. I have not tried changing religions yet.
I can also not recruit from my own villages, I assume because they are Vale at this point (I believe recruitment troop type follows your first ennoblement, not your land of birth. I learned this in a previous game after starting a kingdom in the Icy north and found that I could only recruit Freefolk in any territory I conquered)
Hope this helps. Produno, this mod is awesome and really has great immersion and play. The skins are fantastic, the cities remarkable, and troop balancing impressive.
Some more info and a correction.
Correction: my lands recruit Northmen (birth culture) not Vale (first ennoblement culture)
Converted my character to the Seven and can now recruit in some of the Reach, Westerlands, and Vale. My first Vale fief of Crab Bay is an exception, forceful recruitment only even though relation is 63.
I can recruit from some villages of my own villages which seems strange given that character now worships the Seven and troops are Northmen.
I am now blocked from recruiting in some of the North and the Freefolk lands. Interestingly, Nightswatch villages changed from "Recruit Villagers" to "Forceful recruit"
I am still welcome to shop in the faction armor for the North and the Nights Watch. Also, my wolf still likes me well enough.
so...it does seem to be tied to the religion code somehow. again I hope this helps and good luck in the fix
I think now the issue has been fixed , i have the old gods faith and i can recruit from northen villages xD

That's what I do, Recruiting from villages is too costly !
Hunt down outlaws when they more prisoners ;)
Hi, I am lvl 20 Northman, (retainers char. creation choices) + faith of the seven choice.
I am in the North faction and own a Saltspear village. It is day 300 or so and I found out that I cant recruit from villages. Why find it out now? because I was busy trading and making enterprises :D
I can recruit from Vale, Riverlands, Westerlands and probably more... but cant recruit from my own village or any village belonging to the north. I have space in my army, I have 2 leadership, I have positive relation with the village, but the recruiting option doesnt even appear in the menu. Only force recruitment (which I cannot do, because it says that other lords had their pick already)
I searched the internet for a solution but it has been few months and no fix anywhere. I started a new game for a test, same character, with Old gods option. I could recruit from the north but couldnt recruit from the stormlands and dorne (every other faction was ok)
Do you plan to fix it? just asking, bcs the mod is awesome and it made me come back to Warband after a long time. You made some great work here, it has huge potential.

The issue is players religion if you have old gods relligion and trying to recruit in villages of faith of seven you wont be able to recruit. If you want to change relligion ingame you need to find relligios person (septon) in some castles. After you change relligion you need to get little more Relation with relligion and wait couple days
