2.5 Companions upsett cause of not attending tournament

I thought i'd read somewhere this should be fixed. I guess it was fixed in 2.2 but now im playing 2.5 and the problem reappears sadly.

Any other players who have the same issue?

It seems to be both. Sometimes quest cancels properly, sometimes it fails. Not sure why.

Yeah i thought it was fixed but not always it seems indeed. Pretty much meh though. your companions will hate you for it and you cant really fix that hate i think.

Others aren't triggered by this? Personally i think having companions is one of the coolest thing in the game but yh they'll kinda hate you for this sadly

Just a suggestion for Produno, to fix this issue permanently, which is to remove the quest fail companion option entirely and move it to no food, no money, running from battle, and attacking the defenseless.  While this may prove to be a headache, it would remove this problem of trying to make it to a far away location in an impossible time frame.
