Title: Pussified White Walkers

Every time I attack an army of the dead or they attack me, White Walker always seems to run or distance himself from a battle, which is annoying and a mood killer.

There would be nothing more badass and terrifying than seeing him walking slowly behind his army of Wights as they are charging me at full speed! It would make an obvious thing that he is the final boss I have to beat! ;)

In the TV series the white walkers don't attack
(except for hardhome)
So it does kind of fit for them to sit back.

Yes if they are winning and there is no need to risk their own lives.

Btw, we saw them fighting in both season 5 and 6.

Very rarely, and usually only when they were likely to win.

Yeah this pretty much. Plus I don't have time to write custom ai battle code for them. But generally they stand back and let their minions do the work.

Okay, I get that, but they seem so broken and disoriented. When I come close to him, he doesn't seem to notice me. He starts swinging at me even if I'm 20 meters away from him. Then, when he is about to charge me, he walks right past me and starts swinging his sword in the wrong direction. Fine, I'm okay with him standing and observing from the distance, but his behaviour when I come near him is strange, it's not normal and needs fixing. I know you don't have time for this, but I'm asking nicely, in case you find some extra free time, to fix his strange behaviour :).

It's probably some animation/AI pathing faults as the white walker (as far as im aware) has been made from scratch whilst the wights are just edited already existing troops (Produno correct me if im wrong) i'm sure Produno will look at it if/when/as soon as he gets time.
