Really? Thanks! Unfortunately I went and had a look and lived around there for several days getting my rep up with the village...and I could never recruit from it. It was always recruited out & forced recruiting was only old men and children. Will keep looking. Also, any idea where I can recruit Wild Hares? I see them as prisoners occasionally but never seen them in the wild.

Help & Support / Re: Where do i get ironborn reavers?
September 23, 2018, 03:52:49 AM
Thanks, I'm using 3.6 but have previously played 3.0 as well and have never seen any reavers. The only land parties I get are iron born pirates with ironborn captain and ironborn pirates - not reavers. Neither of them seems to upgrade to a reaver either. Can anyone provide any screenshots or something? Unless maybe the pirates are on land and the reavers are the sea parties - will look.

Yes you can, but it wrecks your relationship with everyone in their faction, more than a normal lord.

Yes reputation still affects it. Not sure what levels the changes happen at but I can often get footmen, levies & archers from a village I own. Can still recruit a decent amount (often 10+) at times too, although i do invest points into persuasion.

Help & Support / Re: sailing weather is always stormy?
September 15, 2018, 07:50:39 AM
So I think I solved this - it's now been a week or two and I haven't seen any stormy weather when sailing. Ships are the same and troop numbers roughly similar (perhaps even slightly lower). It seems I may have just been really REALLY unlucky with the weather.

Help & Support / Where do i get ironborn reavers?
September 15, 2018, 07:49:39 AM
Apologies for the question spam - veteran iron born reavers. Where? They don't seem to be in the troop tree and I've never found/seen them anywhere. I already control pyke and lordsport and can't seem to recruit them anywhere. Please help?

Help & Support / sailing weather is always stormy?
September 14, 2018, 06:06:29 AM
I've hit day 1100 in my game and since 1050 or so, weather when I sail is always "stormy". Every 4-5 seconds or so I'll get a message "weather has changed to stormy". It doesn't matter where I am or what time of day. It's costing me thousands and thousands in damaged ships.
I thought maybe it was due to not having enough men to crew the boats but even with 300 men for 4 ships (3 cogs and a trireme) It's still happening. Sailing master skill is 4 and navigation is 7. Any advice? It's never happened before even though I've had 4 ships for many hundreds of days prior. Thanks in advance

A World of Ice and Fire / Re: Town Relationship.
September 13, 2018, 08:35:45 AM
I have this problem as well. I think it's a bug in the floris mod that awoiaf's town management uses (? - I think). Building weirwoods etc to convert population has never helped me. And sometimes some cities just stay happy forever even if I dont convert them.
What you can do though is hire a bunch of spies and keep sending them to that town, as long as they don't get caught and hanged they'll keep bringing your reputation up over time.

Help & Support / Re: Food keeps going up in sieges?
September 13, 2018, 08:28:05 AM
they did a little bit - they went from 500 men to ~430 or so due to the occasional skirmishes etc. However I took over 400 prisoners when I captured it (starved it out because I couldn't fight) so that didnt seem to account for the changes in food. I was outnumbered so I wondered if that had something to do with it.
I built a circumvallation and did all of the other siege things ( sanitation, loot and raid nearby farms, etc).

So I've just finished the siege of Lordsport (with great difficulty - given you can't actually fight when the enemy sallies out). It took 38 days for their 12 days of food to run out and for them to starve into surrender. It took about 30 days for the food to run out and another 8 or so to actually starve them until they surrendered. What gives?

Help & Support / Food keeps going up in sieges?
September 11, 2018, 05:12:55 AM
There's something weird when I siege a castle or city. First the food doesn't go down by 1 day every 24 hours. I can sort of justify that as being due to casting out women and children etc when that happens.
However sometimes the amount of days of food left goes UP. It's really frustrating besieging a place (Lordsport - which you cant assault due to a bug) only to find that it sits on "11 days of food remaining" for 3 days and then on the 4th day its gone up to 12 days!
Does this happen to anyone else / what is the cause or how can I solve it? Cheers

It's not fixed for me either and I have hte latest version. Looking at the time of the post below (July) compared to the time v3.6 came out (June) it looks like the fix might not be in the latest version?

A World of Ice and Fire / Targaryen invasion
September 10, 2018, 11:16:25 AM
I'm about ready to launch the Targaryen invasion. I'm a vassal of the north with several cities, keeps, and villages including King's Landing.
Will the Targaryens go to war against the north (or me) because I hold King's landing? Do I get a chance to switch allegiances to the Targaryen? What exactly happens when they invade. I'd like to somehow convince the North and the Riverlands to either join Targaryens or ally with them somehow (as we've wiped out the westerlands and taken most of the Reach). Is this possible?

A World of Ice and Fire / My companion has a wound - how do I heal?
September 08, 2018, 02:19:21 AM
When I changed to lead a battle as a companion (Mya Stone) she took an injury to her face and now has -1 charisma.
Back on the party map I can't seem to heal her wound. I have tried healing my wounds (player charactic) with Sylva but this doesn't seem to affect Mya.
I thought there was an option to switch party leaders on the campaign map as well, so I could switch to Mya, talk to Sylva, and then heal the wound, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Can anyone help? How can I heal Mya's wound?
Thanks
