A World of Ice and Fire / Wights?
October 01, 2017, 12:54:07 AM
So while travelling in Essos, I spotted a party of 70 dothraky raiders. Didnt look at their troops, just ran into them and sent my 100 something knights into them.
Then after the raiders died, I saw on my screen that my knights are  being killed by Wights and not killing anyone, I didnt encounter any Wights anywhere before that. I called the knights back and killed the Wights by myself.

I'm confused, I thought Wights were suppose to be with the White Walkers invade? What are they doing in Essos?
also, shouldn't I require a Valyrian steel in order to kill them? My sword is the one I took from Thoros of Myr when I hired him as a companion, not Valyrian steel as far as I'm aware. I was also able to kill them with bow and arrows just fine.

Edit: There was also 1 Wight giant in that encounter.

September 26, 2017, 05:32:21 PM
I try to seige Duskendale, but when I charge with my troops there are no ladders on the walls, no siege ladder, just a closed gate. My troops just run into the gate and get stuch there. what am I suppose to do?

I just recently found about this mod so I've been messing around for a couple of hours until 2.0 is released.
anyway im day 2 or 3 in this save, I travel to the wall, decided to take a walk in it ("the town" so to speak). And there I see... myself. standing there.
He has my name and my weapon, no armour and a weird helmet I do not own. But I can engage in a dialog with him, so I do.
Then I have a bunch of options. Sending gifts, Hiring spys, Collection report and information about lords etc... Didnt have money for any of those.
One of the options was accessing my inventory, So I do and there is a single sword in there named Ice, Valyrian steel. It is mine for some reason, given to me by me.. lol.

But it gets weirder.

After exploring all the options, I decide to dismiss myself. I confirm I no longer need my services and the dialog closes.
I engage in a dialog once again, and have the same options as before. I dismiss myself again, dialog closes.
The I do this for a third time, but this time I have different options. I Have an option to resign the marshalship,, No longer serv as a vassal, Pledge my sword as a vassal, ask question about the war... He (me) basically turned into my king.
One more option was to serv as a soldier in his (my) party. I tought to myself "I wonder how this one will turn out". Not sure what I was expecting, but as soon as I click the "Seems a fair lot and steady work in these lands. I'm with you, my lord.", the game freezes and I can only close it with task manager.
I don't know if this is a knows issue or not, but it is by far the weirdest bug I've even seen in any mod   :o

A World of Ice and Fire / Should I wait for 2.0?
September 21, 2017, 05:20:53 PM
I recently tried this mod for the first time, played for 2 hours and really liked it. Now I see that there is a big expansion coming saturday. I dont want to miss on anything big or start a new campaign in a few days, So should I wait for the expansion or can I play it now and not miss on anything?

Thanks and keep up the good work :)
