Wun-Wun lost

I recruited the giant companions and then went to do the lands of always winter quest. I was obviously defeated, and lost wun-wun. Now the travelers say he is in valysar, but he doesn't spawn in the inn. 4.1 btw.

Not entirely relevant, but I've actually won that battle. Had to go through all my obsidian arrows and then pick up Longclaw from off of Jon's body but after half an hour of riding in circles I managed it.

Is there any more info on this? I have the same issue pls help.

I don't want to start all over but in my previous save they Dongo and Wun-Wun were so usefull that they got like 40 kills combined every siege.
