I need help with questline

Hey guys, after some time I wanted to download the mod again and finish the main questline. I just download the mod v3.6. After a few hours in the game I managed to come to bolster the black quest. Jon Snow has joined my party and the Lord Commander told me that I should gathered a small force and maybe found a valerian sword.

So far, everything is cool but from now problem starts. I change my route to the south to get some men and money but when I do that Jon starts complaining and after some time he leaves. When I turn back to the north, he doesn't leave but I can't do anything. It is not possible to kill wights with 7 men and without valerian sword even if I find some which I couldn't.

What should I do now. I am really confused

It's very difficulty to kill the white all. cause warbow can't use on horse.

you can use fire arrow to shoot the white army on your horse. maybe use shortbow.

I miss the warbow in ver 3.0 anyway.

Fire arrows kill wights. Obsidian and Valyrian weapons kill both wights and White Walkers. Jon will leave your party if you venture too far from the questline. You do not have to defeat the White Walker party to complete the quest, you just have to interact with it. Good luck and have fun.

So I just need to find the group right?

Is there any spesific place to find them ?

Yeah, it was anoying when I got this quest and I've had to go to Quohor for some valyrian blade, specially when I had to gain some more renown(I had to use cheat, couse Jon was angry, and he got out of my party).
