Affiliating with a family

What do i need to affiliate with a family?
Im at day 519
My character's renown is 1100+, Reputation 340+(Heroic)
Im aegon targaryen's vassal for a long time. My relation with him is 80(loyal) and my relation with house targaryen is +50(friendly)
But still the god damn aegon doesnt allows me to affiliate with house targaryen(every week he says ''ask about it next week'').

It depends on his personality. For some characters/families you need a faction relation of 90 or even 100, don't know exactly. And I think for some families you may not have a too high reputation. Don't think Aegon is one of those, though.
