Hi, I recently downloaded warband on gog.com after playing it for some time on ps4. I have warband fully updated and the latest version of the mod (4.2). I downloaded the mod and extracted it with winzip to the modules folder in warband. Native warband boots fine, however when I try to boot A world of Ice and Fire, the game doesn't load past the final quarter of the loading bar, instead closes the application with no error message. I am baffled by this as I have redownloaded the mod a few times, and reinstalled the game a few times, with no luck. Anyone know if this is fixable? Mod looks/sounds perfect just dying to play it now.
When you open the launcher, go into the configure tab and click the option to 'Load Textures on Demand". This helps with most large mods.
Thanks for replying, however I have tried that already to no avail. I have tried booting up with directX7 and 9 and updated them, still nothing. Just loads until the same point, freezes, then game closes with no error message.
Can you list your PC specs?
