Dragonstone Declaring War+Stannis Baratheon being an arse

So, I have two questions,

One being when does Dragonstone declare war on both the Westerlands and the Stormlands? I'm on day 78 under command of Dragonstone, yet they haven't done anything? I've given the letter from Ned Stark and all, and I've gotten up to the Riverlands declaring war, but nothing else has happened since then.

In my time waiting for something to actually happen, I also did the 'Old Valyria' quest. As I was under Dragonstone, I knew the colour of Qarthigar would be the Dragonstone brownish colour, yet it's banner is Stannis Baratheon's rather than my Sunglass stars? There are also no options to ask anyone who they think should become the lord of Qarthigar and Taelon, and the descriptions of both the village and castle state it as Stannis Baratheon's. In that case, is there a way to revert the castle back to my ownership? Ser Janis Lyren, poor soul, is still in my party. (The quest ended as soon as I killed the slavers, yet nothing happened after that? No message from Lyren, nothing.)
