How do i import my character from beta 7 to beta 8 with my story progression ?

You can't. You can only Import your character's skills, stats and money...  :'(


Yeah... But you shouldn't have expected this to be possible, It's a whole new version each time, not just an update...

not entirely true, you can also import the face i believe. but the mod might have made that impossible.

Alright, you cannot save your story progression. There are, however, a number of things you can either export/import or manipulate by changing the text files themselves.

1.) You can export/import your player character via the option in character statistics.
2.) You can change the character files themselves in user/own documents/Mount&Blade Warband/characters. The game doesn't register this as cheating, so you can still get your precious Steam achievements.

The skills usually have 10 as maximum. You can also use TweakMB to raise them up to a maximum of 15, but TweakMB can cause a few problems from time to time. Best make a backup of your mod folder before experimenting with it. Here's the link where you can download TweakMB.

3.) You can also export/import every single companion via the mod options menu and manipulate it in the same manner as you'd manipulate the above text file.
4.) You can even go further in manipulating your companions. Just take a look at this nice video:
