Post by: Stravask on June 18, 2015, 07:31:45 AM
I've tried running it every way I can, and every single time I get the same runtime error. Whatsup?

I'm having the same problem. For me, it happens after I click "Start a New Game". The game starts to initialise, but when it gets to "Launch A World of Ice and Fire" the Visual C++ runtime error comes up. I'm running Beta 7 Final + Hotfix #2, on Warband 1.167. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, 64bit.

Hmm, you have load textures on demand turned on?

I have the same system at you and dont have this issue so im guessing its possibly a software issue. Is your windows upto date?
Have you put a search in google?

Damn, I was really hoping that I wouldn't have to switch that on. The hope that I could get away with having that off was half the reason I went with your mod over ACOK.

Its only since the latest hotfix ive had to turn it on myself. I will be doing some optimisations for Beta 8 so it should be better.

Though, it doesnt seem to make any difference performance wise for me whether its on or off. It jus allows me to load the initial map.
