The gravity well

Started trying this mod out a few days ago.

There appears to be some invisible gravity well around all roads that causes your party to go in directions towards a road when you are near a road and click somewhere away from the road. It's very annoying when trying to run from bandits and the like. It almost makes me want to drop the mod altogether. Doing the cattle quest is quite the chore.

I haven't experienced this in native or in other mods. I don't know how the map is set up, but might be something worth looking at.

It's because you travel faster on roads, and so the pathfinding automatically attempts to move you towards the nearest road when traveling. I agree it can be quite infuriating when trying to run from enemies. You have to zoom way in and micromanage your course by clicking every centimeter.
