Hello, all! I hope this is not regarded as forum clutter. I certainly don't intend for it to be that.

Even in Alpha, with bugs as advertised (I thought bald Lady Maege was hysterical), this mod is a joy to play. I'm not given to taking part in gaming communities, but I felt compelled to do so here. As a project in early development, this mod is worthy of high praise indeed, and I want to tell you exactly why I think so:

First, and dearest to me, is your embrace of a sandbox mentality. People who want to experience GRRM's story "as it happened" have the books (or the HBO program). Opening up the world to player interference, and abolishing as much predestination as possible is what, to me, makes for a real game.

Second, you're a community-based project. I like it for all the same reasons I like democracy and capitalism.

Third, from what I have seen, the team are good people. Friendly, and open.

And lastly, you're building on a strong existing base. There are plenty of reasons to have hope. I've been jotting down bugs as I play, and I will match my enthusiasm with effort and write up a report on what I've stumbled across later today.  :)

Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to help squash those pesky bugs!

Sandbox games is something thats always interested me, hence why i liked Mount and Blade in the first place. So this to me is a track i want to stay firmly railed to. Of course some things have to be made to stick to the Game of Thrones world, for instance the Nights Watch not being able to willy nilly war whoever they like. But in the same respect i have allowed the player to engage in war with them if they wish to do so. But that then leads to concequences influenced by other aspects of the game but with a hint of randomisation added to help keep it as real as possible. Stuff like this still enables the player to do what he likes without it becoming silly or unrealistic. The same reason we have killable lords and kings.

Im glad your enjoying the mod so far, suggestions and feedback are certainly welcomed here :)

I don't have too much to add but I wanted to echo these thoughts and show my support/gratitude.

I very rarely join forums, let alone post but thought you deserved a bit more participation considering
how well this mod is shaping up to be. I'm loving the direction this is headed. Jumping into the
sandbox headfirst, hoping to get stuck.

Keep up the inspiring work & congrats on the new home!

Agree with everything posted fantastic mod in alpha which will be mind-blowingly (yes not a word) good when it gets to beta, let alone finished.
