This is unique to this mod, and should be well known to anyone who has played it. Is there something I'm missing? Even with pathfinding 10, I can't match the speed of some of the lords, some of them have armies over 400 and it doesn't affect their speed at all. Is that "designed" to just make the experience frustrating? I don't mind most of the things this mod does, but having enemies that I can't really avoid because I can't run away is just awful.
If an enemy has bigger army than me, it makes sense to me that he can't easily catch up, and at the same time it gives me tactical advantage of being able to avoid larger armies and get to places I wouldn't be able to reach with larger army. But in this mod, the only tactics aside from savescumming is to just not travel into enemy lands, or risk quick punishment, which is hardly tactical - the moment I see anyone, I need to start running away from them, hoping they haven't spotted me, because if they did, they can catch me no matter what. Is this intended to just make me feel more pathetic unless I get larger army?
Since I bouth the fastest Sand Speed I have no such problems anymore but it could be coincidence...
I have checked the code and for some reason the players party was 1% slower than everyone else, this has been fixed and now depends on pathfinding skill and all the other hard coded native stuff. Their is nothing else coded in the mod to make the player slower.
All right, so it's possible that all the super fast Lannister boys I've been encountering have maximum pathfinding and really good horse? I was exaggerating when I've said that it doesn't affect their speed at all, but I am absolutely not used to AI with armies over 250 men being faster than me with 50 men and 7 pathfinding. I guess it's time for me to finally get a good horse.
I also keep extra horses in my inventory as it helps speed you up and well if your lame you can put it in you inventory and use another and it will heal up. I have two horses for my main that I switched out from a super faster horse for travel and than when I plan to war a heavy war horse that isn't as fast. Though it doesn't change my over all speed this allows me to switch horses when one gets downed in a fight and becomes lame until it heals up. I also check my companions horses and have extras to swap out encase one of theirs is lame but haven't tested if this effects speed at all over all. The only time I notice my speed slowed down is when I'm loaded down with prisoners. You know got to feed the wall with all these Lannister Knights and all. I honestly only keep the knights and send them. Got to have the best for the wall and all. Don't want any of them pesky Wildlings coming down south and all.
