Winterized Ground Textures Pop in for only half a second

The world map is covered in snow after the invasion of the WW but during battle scenes the floor and trees are only covered in snow for half a second then it goes back to normal. Is there a setting i must tick, my computer, or is this simply just a bug. If theres a way i can replace them please let me know.

Winter has came for the reach..
Only happened once. Its was awesome I know it's not a bigg deal but it's very immersive. Hopefully it gets fixed for 5.0

Currently there are no snow texture variations other than for the map, this is probably why this happens.
