[4.3.4] Targaryan Lords disappear once defeated

Had the bug happen in 2 different saves.
Whenever a vassal from the targ faction is defeated but not captured they disappear.
When asking the other lords where they are they reply : I don't know where "Jorah" is. When they do get captured they seem to work normal tho.

Both saves were played on Realistic + Static wars.
After disabling static wars another lord got defeated and disappeared.
No cheats were used at any point.

Update : Once the Lords are released from captivity they disappear.

Current version is 4.3.4, is that what you meant or are you playing a slightly older version?

Yes its 4.3.4 i got it wrong since steam workshop says V4.3.5 released

I have encountered this bug aswell. If you free a captured Targaryen lord the same thing happens. I have waited 50 days now...

Ok, I know which script this is, it's the same one that was causing issues with the Targ lords always patrolling.


If anyone can try this build and let me know if the Targ lords reappear. It may take a few ingame weeks. @BladedQueen @Karolinen @EvocativeAxis

I tested the changes. My original save was day 147, ended up at day 243. No one returned, and Daenerys herself was captured halfway through. I let over 30 days pass after her release from prison, and she also never returned. Asked Greyworm about all of them and he doesn't know where they are - I also cheated to view every party on the map, and the missing Targaryen lords were definitely absent, as their location status hadn't updated.

Edit: I'm also beginning a new test with a fresh campaign. Minor bug: I noticed Jon Snow is bald after he's made Lord Commander.

I tested in a save just b4 joining daenerys.
She keep patroling around dragonstone however i was still able to join when speaking to her.
The rest of the lords took Sharp point but then went on loop patrolling around it. I waited around 10 days and they kept doing it.

Major update to my testing. I basically confirmed that the disappearance bug still exists in the 4.3.6 version uploaded in this thread. I am providing 3 save points - these are FRESH 4.3.6 saves, not using any pre-existing from 4.3.4. The first 'Test' save is immediately after Khal Zinno is released from prison. 'Test 2' involves Jorah imprisoned at Saltpans. 'Test 4' is after Jorah's rescued and 30 days passed.

I should also say that I didn't notice any problems with Targaryen navigation or indefinite patrolling, though they didn't take Sharp Point in my campaign. In either 4.3.4 or 4.3.6
