Not sure if this is intentional or not, but i've had 8 new games/playthroughs and they're all gloveless & shoeless... it's not something that has ever bothered me aesthetically since they're "hard mofos" who probably wouldn't feel the pain of a hot desert or a sharp rock on their feet anyway.

Same here.

Unfortunately, I don't think this can be fixed without a new save.
