Prisoner Rescue gone wrong?

Lord commander was captured by the wildlings and taken the Thein town. After sneaking in beating down the guard to bust him out, the Lord Commander goes crazy and just starts going to town on me. I am unable to rescue him and now he will sit there and rot. By the way Love the mod tried to donate but the paypal link on the wiki seems to be busted.

For the sake of clarity, he did this in previous version too, not just 2.0.

What option did you pick when escorting the lord commander out of the prison?

I always use the "stay behind me" option, and i've never had this happen, i've saved him multiple times from both Thenn & Free Folk Camp.
