It wont break your game. But some of the fixes will not work unless a new game is started, as pointed out above.

Sadly i think it is not, i tried my 2.0 save and i couldn't fight with ironborn's parties, i restarted from start with 2.1 and i could.

It should be, as most hotfixes are. Works fine 5 mins in the old save so far.

I couldn't see anywhere if the hotfix is save compatible?
I don't  really want to start a new game yet at this point lol
