And the award of the best title of this week goes to...

If serious, unlike Westeros, Essos doesn't have healers in lords' halls. They reside on city streets. I remember dotharki campcity had one 100%. Try strolling through city streets, you'll find many interesting characters in Essos, like slavers and healers.

I think this was just meant to be dark-purple. Although, red variant would look good too.

v2.0 / [2.2] Arbor and Lys siege issues
October 07, 2017, 10:47:04 AM
Arbor and Lys have issues with AI mesh, as reported by a right proper lad Walscott on Moddb.

I fixed Arbor - added missing mesh (Mostly where archers spawn), corrected existing one and sealed off some areas where AI can get stuck and is not supposed to go there.
Here is the file.

God help the man, who will try to fix Lys - my computer simply couldn't handle that scene.

There is also a White Walker invasion, which doesn't depend on quests.

You, uhh, just answered your own question. You have to be lord of their castle. Karhold for Karstark, Twins for Frey, etc.

And to get those... You either have to be lucky, so king awards it to you, or you can take it by force.

Alternatively, you can recruit those from prisoners.

Oldtown walls file has a destructible drawbridge. The troops tend to bunch up on it, and some of them have throwing weapons, which destroy the bridge. Missing bridge causes troops to drown, making assault impossible. Originally reported by Wascott on Moddb.

Here is a fix, where drawbridge was replaced by it's non-destructible analogue.

1) Go to the Citadel in Oldtown.
2) Do not be injured.
3) Ask "could you look at my injuries"
4) "Actually, I changed my mind"

If you change your mind, your character asks "could you look at my injuries" again. So, you get stuck in the dialogue until you pay that guy money.

Here is a fix for it.

I placed mantelet EPs correctly, also did a few very minor changes to AI mesh and objects, where bots could get stuck.

It's good that I saw this bug, otherwise I would not ever know that EP 57 and 58 are mantelets. Learn something new everyday,

Which castle is that?

Edit: Storm's End, must be.

v2.0 / [2.2] Ship capture menu glitch
October 04, 2017, 07:12:17 PM
Version 2.2. Cheats were used once and turned off shortly after, only thing done is Ctrl+x-ing some money for roleplay purposes. The save was created in 2.2.

After winning a ship battle, and getting the menu about a free ship, a white cross appears in the lower left corner. First time, it was after fighting random looters.

Second time, it was after fighting letter quest poachers, after an error appeared in the log: "get_object failed for mesh: hacerbarco"

You know, with that hairstyle, Son Goku fits him more. But, I'm afraid that it's just a son, which you get from the wife.

Not the plate knight armour, but the Vale levy gambeson (I think).

Here is a screen from 2.2.

Help & Support / Re: "Hold" Command Issues
October 02, 2017, 01:32:15 PM
Oh, I think it's intentional, or at least semi-intentional. From my experience, when you order them one-by-one (Infantry, go there! Cavalry, go there! Archers, charge!), it works fine. Less so, when ordering all at once (Everyone, hold this!)

But. There is a quite a funky thing called "Memorize division placement", which makes them remember position relative to the player. So, if you made infantry memorize ten steps right of you, archers right on top of your head and cavalry memorized chilling in the nearest brothel, they're gonna do that.
It's quite clunky, I'm unsure how it works, but after some voodoo magic and stuff one can fix it.

I think this is a feature from extended battle formations part.

I forgot to mention, yes, Normal Wars.

That's great news, that you located the bug. :)
