Definitely try downloading it manually through moddb. Many people have troubles with the steak subscriptions for mods. Good luck!

sure, thoros has a flaming sword you can take from him. theres also fire arrows with the nights watch, as well as wildfire pots you can get when you capture kings landing

make sure your minister is one of your companions, then get a lord form wherever you want your culture to be. you can make a companion you dont want as a lord

u/dominanceee from Reddit has created a re-balanced version of the troops in the mod. I don't agree with all of these changes, like buffing up the cavalry, but check it out yourself and see if you like it.
Stuff like pirates and outlaws using blunt weapons is a good change, that makes sense. I think you should consider that, produno.

I can confirm that Alfred seems to be a bit buggy in this one. Usually, you get to capture every troop you knock unconscious, and Alfred was no different. Never was he ever able to escape the clutches of my cold hands to get my rightful bonus book from the spider. Alas, after trying thrice in 2.2, Alfred, who was hit by a heavy mace and knocked out, was never able to get captured.

I saw it mostly with the legs with other factions, but this only happened when I was playing with the hotfix for 2.0
