A World of Ice and Fire / Funny Shenanighans
June 18, 2015, 05:22:49 PM
So, i get a little fed with some of the shitty reviews left in which they rate the mod a 1 but leave no feedback as to why or how it could be improved. I do actually enjoy reading constructive criticism! I decided to PM only 2 of them all. Heres the conversation ive currently been having with one of them. Ive found it quite amusing as im sure others may do too  ;D

Something that sticks in my mind is the fact he mentions me not writing straight (its never been my strong point)... remember this whilst reading his own writing :).

Enjoy.

Hello,

Ive noticed youve rated my mod a 1, whilst rating ACoK's a 9. You point out some good facts in that review, eg, him working alone, as do I.

You will notice alot of people who have rated my mod a 1 have either mentioned Cozur or ACoK in the review, or have only rated one other mod, which happens to be ACoK, in which they rated a 9 or a 10.

With this in mind, is your review legit or are you just trying to have a personal dig at me like the others? If it is legit you could at least do the decent thing and try to rationalise your rating of 1. I am always taking suggestions on how to improve, but if your rating is sincere then there must be serious problems??

If your rating is just another attempt to troll then i shall start reporting these ratings to the moddb mods. Just because Cozur has decided to have a problem with me I dont see why his fanboys have to stoop so low too. We are afterall a modding community, people work for free to create stuff for the community. Its pretty saddening when stuff like this goes on just because one guy spat his dummy out.

Oh God, what is this? I gave Cozur's mod a 9 rating because it's actually good and feels better in almost every way. I gave yours 1 because I literally couldn't stand playing it.

Let's start with the reasons. First, font is too small to read when you're not playing on full-screen. I always play M&B windowed 800 x600 because I also do other things while playing. The truth about whether or not you ever even thought about people who don't play on full-screen is better left unsaid. ACOK is true to the books and has fewer useless assets. The writing is far better than yours, for one. "Ned Stark has been beheaded and war has broken out. You don't want to be on the wrong side." Telling readers what they want or what they don't is an amateur writer's mistake. You read my opinion about writing on ACOK review too. To be fair I wrote that in hurry and I still have a lot of really minor issues I haven't said. Compliments too.

Combat feels really nice with the sound effects and proper statuses on equipment, and I don't see any swords that are absurdly wide and thick swung around by people wearing gigantic cloths which proportions are inhuman. Texture work is consistent in everything, while a lot of your assets are wrongly textured or have improper lighting. Music is great. No anglo-saxon instrumental music playing in Essos whatsoever. It's truly a shame that all those cool assets are inherited to you instead of Cozur.

You could say it's still on Alpha phase and all, but I remember playing ACOK's 0.7 and it was already far more solid than yours. Yes I'm aware that a modding community is not a nest of vipers, but you're the one acting as if it is. I'm already familiar with the world of project development since I've been a creator myself (not mod, but other things), and I truly respect every creator in the communities I'm in, but from the way I see it, the way you jumped into Cozur's thread in the Taleworlds forums and started promoting your mod in his very thread is an absurd attitude. I saw that, funny story.

I could go on and on with this, but I don't think you even deserve my opinions and suggestions after seeing how you deal with people who give you bad ratings. Actually I never gave a dusty fuck about all the drama between you and Cozur, and kept trying to see your mod and his objectively, but boy this is interesting. I'm starting to think that Cozur might be innocent after all. Try to approach people for suggestions more gently next time, instead of starting by accusing them as some kind of crazy cultist.

Summary, yes my rating is legit.

Ok, so i dont normally bother wasting my time replying to trolls as i would rather spend the little time i have spare to improve my mod, but i will make an exception this time in the hope you may learn something.

Your reply is full of inconsistencies. Let me explain..

First you are reviewing an older version of the mod from the date at which you posted your review. You dont go to review a car but review the model previous do you? So why do it here?

You complain that you play at 800x600 and somehow think i owe it to you to make sure you can play at a different resolution to which I the mod creator plays at. I do not get paid to make sure it works flawlessly on every computer on every setting available. If this is something you want specifically to your needs, then i can arrange a price to make sure thats so ;).

You mention you are familiar with the world of project development, yet go on to claim you downvoted due to unfinished assets and other inconsistencies, proving you actually have no concept of Alpha. Someone with the background you claim to posess should have a full understanding of this concept. Though i urge you to look it up and educate yourself. If the mod did not have these problems then i wouldn't be labeling it an Alpha or even a Beta for that matter.

You should also understand the mod i built AWoIaF upon was Brytenwalda, an anglo saxon modification, hence why the extra redundant assets and the music you mentioned (most of which is changed in the B7 hotfixes). Cozur created his own on the Floris mod, which was already fully converted to a medieval setting. This created a huge amount of extra work for me and was a bad choice on my part. Though i had to do something different, which led me with little choice at the time.

I have no idea what you mean by "seeing how you deal with people who give you bad ratings". I have no problems with bad ratings, i even asked you to follow up with constructive criticism, which you failed on.

Im not sure where you seem to think i 'jumped' into Cozurs thread to promote my own mod? My mod thread is either just below his or just above, so why would i ever need to promote it within his thread? I also have my own forums which i predominantly use as do alot of others. I see this as the height of trolling trying to gain a reaction from me. Unfortunately for you, your just another robot typing words.

You can believe Cozur is innocent, i think youve got mixed up somewhere thinking i actually care about the whole fiasco, my main concern is to make a mod to the best of my abilities without the tarnishing of others. I have always been transparent and fully honest with my followers and everyone else. I have absolutely nothing to hide and will continue to act in the same manner questioning and confronting people where i feel necessary.

Summary, I asked you an honest question due to the shear number of ratings in the same light as your own. I was interested in honest criticism in why you found my mod so unbearable. Maybe you didn't realize i was asking subjectively... Or maybe you are indeed a troll as your reply was aggressive and offered no help at all.

Thanks for making the community a better place.

Produno.

Funny that all those complains came from a person who can't even write straight.

I reviewed the older version of the mod? Which mod would The Mod be? My review was about Cozur's ACOK 2.0. Learn to communicate clearly at least.

If you fancy yourself as a developer, and a passionate one, you should have thought about people who don't play on full screen. During the design phase, game developers always think about different platforms and different kinds of systems the game might run on and plan ahead. Sure, some games are explicitly made for a platform like Windows-only games and this kind of restriction is fully acceptable, but no one restrict their games to be played only on full screen. That's absurd. Mount and Blade itself is already playable in all resolutions, but you screwed that up in your mod. It's one of the basic attitudes you should have as a developer. The attitude to think about all kinds of players and not to blame them for playing in a different setting, which the default game your mod is based on supports. The lack of it is also a reason why I gave you 1 out of 10. Your mod breaks more things than it adds.

I pointed out your mistakes and you antagonized me for that instead. That is also a really bad attitude. And don't complain at those harsh words I gave you. You were the one approaching me while pointing fingers. To be honest I can't think how those criticisms would be harsh to anyone older than 10 years old.

Yes I did gave you 1/10 for bad assets too. Why? It's not because having unfinished features is a crime. It's because it looks like you don't even bother making them ready before presenting it. Have you ever heard of a cook who does this when trying a recipe?

"Hold on, the meat is still raw because I haven't cooked it, but here you go and taste it anyway though!"

No. One would wait until they get to an acceptable point and present the dish to the testers. Then any flaws or mistakes after that would be acceptable and the testers can give the cook decent suggestions. In game development, beta or alpha phase would be the phase where the game is not stable yet, but already playable. The assets have been made, the features installed, and all that stuff but the team isn't sure yet whether or not the game is already solid and worth publishing to public. That's why they have testers, to point out whatever mistakes they missed.

I knew it's based on Brytenwalda. My complain is about how you didn't even bother removing all the anglo-saxon crap before making a fresh mod out of it. It's like what I said before. You presented a raw meat and think it's good enough for people. Other people might be, but I'm not a dog. If this is what you mean by the best of your abilities, then you actually deserve 1/10.

I did give you constructive criticisms and those are good enough for anyone who doesn't have a stick so high up in their arses. I've been doing this for a pretty long time and most people listened to me and actually improved.

The main problem here is that you're butthurt for getting 1/10 for something that you deserve. Instead of approaching me by politely asking why, you rushed in and accused me for being a troll. You got some opinions about your mod and got even more butthurt and made this reply. Did you see Cozur complaining about those who give him 1/10 simply for refusing their stupid gaiant n dragonz ideas? I've never seen him talking about it at all. He's clearly more mature than you.

Now, let me tell you that being a nice guy isn't the only attitude that matters in development world. Working attitude is actually more important. If you really think someone who has given you THIS MUCH of inputs is a troll, then have yourself checked up.

Cant even write straight? Speak for yourself..

Anyway, in no particular order.. because i really cant be bothered...

I noticed you updated your review with even more flamebaiting. Another trolling activity :). Either that or you completely lack the capacity to understand what im actually writing. I didn't accuse you of being a troll in my first PM, i was speaking subjectively as i already mentioned. If you don't understand the word then look it up. If your going to fabricate stories in your reviews i can quite easily put this whole conversation on my forums.

As to your last reply, im not sure where you got the idea im a developer or even want to be one? Im an amateur mod creator that started creating something for myself because its something i enjoy, though instead of being selfish i decided to let others either contribute or use for themselves. I have no responsibility to make sure something i created for myself which works on my system should work on anyone elses! It seems all you enjoy doing is trolling the people trying to be creative and offering free modifications for others to enjoy. Maybe your energy would be better spent jumping on board and actually offering something of use?

Your descriptions of Alpha and Beta are wrong, you didn't even look it up did you? An Alpha dictates a state in which you are still adding features to an unfinished product. A Beta is the point in which pretty much all features have been added but the product still needs bug testing, fine tuning, balancing etc. All the things you listed are on my list of things to do whilst traversing through the Alpha - Beta - Final stages, that's why they are not constructive nor helpful. You are bashing a mod for not being finished when it quite clearly already says its not finished and comes with a Beta tag. Oh and Alpha does in no way mean the game should be playable, neither should Beta for that matter. This is why i told you to educate yourself, instead of being defensive look it up then you may actually realise why im saying what im saying. Stating you have incorrect assets and your writing is bad does not help at all... which assets? Why are they incorrect? How could they be improved? You say my mod breaks more than it adds, yet all you mention is the font size? I can think of 100's of added features so wheres all these things it breaks? Constructive criticism would label these things for me fix? The issue your referring to is easily solved by removing the font file in the module, if you had have asked i could have told you how to do this, because you know in a community like this we help each other not bash each other... at least i thought.

Also for your info, if i was to remove everything Brytenwalda from the mod i would have to change it back to native to then have to change it to ASoIaF related, this would double my workload on an already limited schedule and for what? Just to keep you happy?

The mod i was referring to is of course the mod we have been talking about, the very mod i pm'd you about in the first place. You mentioned my writing in the tutorial box at the beginning of the game. This is no longer present in the current version, meaning you have reviewed an older version of the mod. Again, was this another excuse to try and have a stab or do you sincerely lack the ability to put two and two together?

Pretty much everything you replied has included insults or a complete misconception of what i was writing. Whether you are trying to flamebait or just have bad interpersonal skills i don't know. Either way, you should read back through my replies with an open mind.

Lastly, i couldnt give a rats arse what you rate the mod and what i 'deserve', i was more concerned with honest feedback which i could use to improve the mod and 'hopefully' separate your review from the other vindictive reviews ive had. Unfortunately you would prefer to provoke drama and misconstrued advice. Anyway, ive spent too long wasting my time here. Others more helpful are counting on me to create something good, so if you have nothing of use to offer then i shall get back to it.
A World of Ice and Fire / The Forums lives on!!
March 28, 2015, 03:27:45 PM
So, I only had two years domain time for the forums and the website, this time will unfortunately be at an end in the next couple of months. I was hoping a couple of donations would come in to help alleviate the expense but unfortunately hasn't done so. This means I shall not be renewing the server space and all conversations will be moved to the Taleworlds forums. I feel the thousands of hours ive put into the mod is enough without me having to also pay for stuff for the mod out of my own pocket.

Thanks to everyone that's contributed here and to the moderators that's helped out when needed.

If you are kind enough to make a donation now, we could maybe acquire enough to pay for another years domain time. It currently costs around £80 a year and our current quota runs out in July.

Just letting everyone know we now have enough to cover two years worth of domain time. So a massive thanks to everyone that donated, its very much appreciated by me and i hope from the others that use the forums here. Thanks.

UPDATE**

So, its been that time again although unfortunately the price has almost doubled for the same 2 year subscription service for hosting.

So after much deliberation I have decide to place a few ads on the site and see if that can generate any income to assist paying for the forums. I will see if I can place a toggle for any moderators or anyone that has donated towards the mod.

Once 2.0 is out I will tidy up the forums and see if I can update the wiki also.

Beta 7 / Beta Testers Wanted
February 20, 2015, 10:24:05 AM
I need testers to test the Beta 7.3.  Send me a PM and ill send you the files via dropbox. Remember, testing involves reporting bugs and trying to check every aspect of the game, not just playing.

With the move to Beta im looking for someone that wants to take up the challenge of going through all the characters and troops in game and listing who needs there gear changing. You will then need to assist me in choosing the correct gear for these troops/characters. Whether that be from armour already in the game or from OSP's on the TW forums.

You will need to have a good knowledge of the different cultures and characters in the ASoIaF world and be able to sift through the different armours currently in the mods resource folder and the TW forums.

If your up for the challenge then please get in touch. This is something I could do but I would rather be polishing the code and fleshing out features where necessary.

If you feel you cant find the exact armour we need, ie for different characters on the TV show that wear specific armours, then find something similar. I will try and pursue textures' and modeller's to create new armours and release them after the finished release, unless of course they are made before hand. But to wait for these would take a very long time and unfortunately, like Cozur, I don't have the luxury of lots of donations to commission new armour types. Besides Its seems Cozur now has the monopoly on most armours and getting people to remake them will be a big ask, so chances are were gonna have to make do with what we have.

The idea is to get the game as polished as possible.

The download for beta 7.2 can be found here:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lvk4w4wg5noylap/awoiaf%20Beta%207.2.rar?dl=0

Just overwrite your Alpha V0.6.0 version and any Beta 7 version you installed

I will keep updating this file for anyone to test and post bugs here. Please also be aware im concentrating on bug fixes only for now. More lords/towns etc will come in Beta 8, so please dont post suggestions here, only bugs!

Please note only code/text changes has been made so far. (minus what was made in V0.6.0 hotfix #1).

A World of Ice and Fire / V0.6.0 Release Update
September 19, 2014, 06:25:34 PM
Heres the news ive posted on Moddb - still awaiting authorisation.

I just want to make people aware that not all bugs are rectified yet.  This is a test only version. I could however quite easily keep it back for another month or two ;).

So, i promised a release today, so i will upload the mod very shortly. Before i begin i want to say the module does still have bugs that im currently actively working on. One specific bug i ve been trying to narrow down for the past two days, hence why im running a little late.

This version is the (Tick). Meaning alot of features and content has been added. I have not had the time to fully bug test or play through the game (hence the reason this latest bug appeared, i will explain more below).

The next update or hotfix if you like will be the (Tock). Meaning hopefully you guys and gals will post any bugs you find to my forums and i can fix them for the next update (hopefully just a couple of weeks). I will also add anything else i havnt had the time to add and i will flesh out some of the new features once feedback has been submitted.

So, if you dont want a buggy experience then WAIT AND DONT DOWNLOAD the mod until after the hotfix. Though if you want to try out the mod and see how far weve came and want to post bugs etc then please download and start testing.

Again THIS VERSION IS JUST FOR BUG TESTING. GAME BREAKING BUGS MAY STILL BE PRESENT.

Well now we have that out the way :).

Most notable features i posted in the last update. So i will give a quick rundown here and post the current changelog. Please note the changelog does NOT show everything changed, only the larger parts that was changed.

Started adding recruiters to certain towns for the special recruitment feature.
Updated ingame credits.
Removed the extra port scenes from port towns. All ports will be shown in the main scene, so no need for the extra ones.
Added alot of new armours and weapons.

A new feature i thinks worth mentioning is the ability to hire special units in towns from the Master at Arms of the town. Ive only added a couple ingame for now, if feedback is good i will add more for the next hotfix.
If you are the current lord of the town you can speak to the Master at Arms and he will train you some troops. The troops are the faction special troops and relate to the town. It takes time and money to train and equip the soldiers so dont expect them straight away, and remember, these are elite troops so dont expect to mass a big army of them very easily.

What im hoping to complete for the very near future, either for the hotfix or for the next full release.

Obviously the current bugs are a priority!
Face codes are another priority of mine, so i will get to work on these soon.
We have a few 3d modelers now working on map icons, so all locations ingame shall soon have their own unique map icon.
All features recently added will be made better.
I have around 10 companions ready to include.
Finish the transition from Brytenwalda to ASOIAF. Theres not much left, but still bits and bobs if you dis-regard the scenes.
Re-work the White Walkers, unfortunately i opted to leave them out for now. The textures need a re-work and the code needs some work to be as intended. Once everything else on the list os complete, this will be next.

Current known bugs.

After a few ingame days your troop wages will increase, though this has zero effect on your money outgoings. You will also be spammed with spy report messages after you own a location.
Again ive not played enough to see what effect it has if any. Though im working hard to find the bug and hopefully you guys can help by playing and giving me more info.

Not all map icons are changed.
Not all scenes are changed.

A World of Ice and Fire / Moddb Reviews
September 04, 2014, 04:02:56 PM
Due to the nature of the Moddb reviews section and how it works, its easy for people to sign up with a fake/new account and post obscenities without anyone being able to reply or defend themselves against such accusations.
Luckily for me i have these forums to do so and one particular review slightly annoyed me, so ive decided to do just that. Can i also point out, to review a mod with a fake account on a review page to which you know you cannot be replied to, is pretty cowardly. Anyone is welcome on these forums to discuss any matter at all related to the mod.

So if the person who wrote the review happens to see this, then please read carefully.

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
No clue of the original setting, terrible modelling,

Some of the models in the mod are actually some of the best made for warband. Maybe you could point out which models in particular?

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
unfitting unit design,

The mod and units are based off of the HBO show, so please take this up with them.

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
poor sense of geography, broken and half-assed or at times outright mistaken location design,

The locations are from the OFFICIAL map, so they are 100% correct. Im afraid your sources must be incorrect.

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
attempts to make a late chivalric world into a dark age world by reason of "I copped out brytenwalda for it because it's cooler"

I have no idea what your trying to say here. Though im guessing its because ive used Brytenwalda as a base for the mod. But then that has nothing to do with that your mentioning here. Maybe you can elaborate?

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
despite inconsistencies, main author has no concept of capitalization, punctuation, grammar

I cant argue with this, im not a grammar teacher neither do i excel in grammar. Though your grammar whilst writing this review is pretty terrible. So your hardly one to criticize.

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
or human decency,

This though i do not agree with. Please show me instances where i havnt been kind or respectful to others?

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
and is also actively trying to defame other mod creators by misusing a quote from a moddb admin,

I posted a reply from a moddb moderator. Its up to others to decide for themselves.

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
and most of all, it's years from a beta stage.

Yes well done. That's why it has a big tag on it saying ALPHA....

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
This is not a mod, people. This is a vague idea of the skeleton of how a mod might look before real effort is expended and before the author even bothers to read the original source material.

Again.. The mod is based off of the HBO show first and formost, so why would i need to read the original material?

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
Worst of all, it's being made by a person actively seeking to damage competent modders.

Please tell me these competent modders im actively seeking to damage?

Quote from: Cowardly reviewer
Also, stop spamming "lol cozur is dick amirite" nonsense on M&BG, produno. It's shallow, petty and embarrassing.

Can anyone tell me what M&BG actually is?? If i have something to say about someone i post it where they are able to reply, so whomever this person is, it is not me. I would also like to see what it is your actually talking about.

I appologise to everyone else that has to read this constant barrage of garbage. Its lame and tiring and i would much prefer if i was left alone to work on this mod rather than having to constantly feel like i have to defend myself or others working with me because of morons posting rubbish or dishing out accusations.

Anyone else played it? I bought it today and had a little go on it. Gets a little boring after a while but the idea is pretty cool.

For anyone that wants to help test and report bugs, i will post the latest patches here with bugfixes.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ha1hqk6v8d7hbaf/A%20World%20of%20Ice%20and%20Fire.rar  - latest patch 0.5.01 13th May.

Extract over your module, or copy and paste the contents into your module folder (a world of ice and fire module folder).

It fixes the troop trees plus gives some troops correct weapons i had left out, fixes missing armour for reach recruits and hopefully fixes the ships on land bug.

Please note a new patch is in the works that will fix the ships on land bug.

New patch - i havnt had time to test this myself!

https://www.dropbox.com/s/5g6iooyrr2ji8tl/A%20World%20of%20Ice%20and%20Fire%20v%200.5.02.rar - V 0.5.02 15th May

Other than the above, it should fix

Winterfell hates player's Old Gods Faith. Similar inconsistencies exist elsewhere. Perhaps not a bug but a symptom of religion's massive code sprawl still needing attention. - tested and not fixed, ive fixed this and all villages for the next patch though! - Fixed in next patch plus some other minor changes

After donating 1000 Stags to the Old Gods Faithful in Winterfell's Great Hall, war was immediately declared on "The Old Gods of the Forest" which meant, for some reason, the player. Aggressors included House Stark, House Tyrell, and some Free Cities. - Fixed in next patch

Volantis has no port but it should. - Fixed in next patch

White Harbor has no port but it should. - Fixed in next patch

Mikken, Winterfell's Blacksmith, should be an older man, but is currently a young woman. - Fixed

Wendel Manderly's name is spelled as 'Wendal Manderly. - Fixed

In the prelude, Eddard Stark is referred to as a King, though he was a Lord Paramount when he died. - This actually says King Robb Stark? - i have changed some of the prelude to make sense for the mod time setting.

I also had another bug of random spawns that would spawn, that shouldnt, so ive added back sea traders to see if it fixes it. - Fixed in next patch

I cant fix the map bugs yet because i still need to get my map editor working, so ill do that after. i will do the other bugs in the next patch - i didnt want to do too much at once.

Cheers guys.

Some may have noticed we had a fake account created on ModDB with the purpose to downvote the mod and hurt its ratings. I guess in an attempt to deter others from playing the mod. Here is the PM i sent to a Mod on ModDB and his reply.
produno May 1 2014, 8:37am says:  Online
Hello,

Im not sure who to message about this but i saw your profile on the forums. If you are not the correct person to contact could you please correctly direct me where else to discuss this matter.

I would like to report a fake account that has been created to downvote my reviews for my mod. The account in Q is this one http://www.moddb.com/members/kelso24

Im not 100% sure but ive been tipped off it may be connected to this one: http://www.moddb.com/members/cozur

I made a post about it on my mod page here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/a-world-of-ice-and-fire/news/fake-reviews

Im not sure if you can check the logs of accounts, but you will see the account was created on the day they reviewed my mod with a rating of 3, to which they never logged back on until i posted my news update, at which point they reviewed the mod a 1 (i guess just to spite me).

Is their any chance the fake review could be removed?

Thanks
Produno.

Religion

Currently in the mod we have four religions.

The Old Gods
The Seven Faced God (The New Gods)
Rh'llor (The Lord of Light)
The Drowned God.

Every Village and Town will be part of a religion, this is determined by the 'majority' in that village or town. The majority is influenced by the Faction that owns that center, which means of course each Faction also belongs to a religion.

Upon game start you will get the chance to choose your religion, though choose carefully as this will directly influence your popularity within the towns and villages which in turn will effect who will be willing to fight for you. What this also means is you can 'convert' towns and villages to your own religion through different means.

Each religion has special characters that you can either find in certain places or travelling around to different locations.  These guys currently provide a way for you to gain reputation and relations bonuses through sacrificial means. If you see a drowned man and have some prisoners you can sacrifice them to the Drowned God for some relations bonus with the Drowned God religion and any factions that currently follow that religion. These NPC's also offer you the chance to convert to a different religion plus many other things. You can also find several parties roaming the map that you can also interact with, or maybe just slay on the battlefield if your that way inclined.

Theirs much more to the religious system in A World of Ice and Fire Modification that i havnt mentioned yet or indeed added (which it will be forever added on). So you can see it plays a very important part within the mod and whatever religion you choose will directly impact your gameplay tactics, decisions and how the world will react to you and of course who will fight with or against you.

This is just one of the many features in the mod that will fully immerse you within the world of ASOIAF. To download the mod please check out our moddb page (look for A World of Ice and Fire).

Please note this writeup is only applicable to version 0.5.0+

A World of Ice and Fire / Ingame characters
December 09, 2013, 09:32:05 AM
I know alot of people complain about the 'quality' or women to fornicate with in mount and blade. So while i was creating faces for the characters in A World of Ice and Fire i decided to create some extra women faces too.

Sooo...

Who wants to play a mod with some pretty women for change?? :)

Twit Twoo!

And who can guess who this character is??

Ill give you a clue.. shes north of the wall ;)

All characters in the game will have had a face lift to look like there counterpart in the HBO series, well as much as mount and blade will allow anyway!! They wont be all done at the same time, but i will add them as and when i create them. Some do only have placeholder faces for now.

Dont forget this will be getting released as an Alpha on the 22nd! :)

Rimworld

Official site : http://ludeon.com/blog/

Rimworld is an indie game currently being developed by one man. It follows the sandbox/sim/rts genre. Dont let the graphics fool you, this game is awesome! Though hes stated the more he earns on kickstarter the more he can pay on art for the game. Hes already got around 700% of his initial bid :).

If you pay $30 you get the pre-alpha after the kickstarter (currently 10 days). Well worth it.
