download Paint.NET and you can simply copy paste the banners you want from any faction into players banners

Kings can join other factions after being defeated, even in static wars. That's a feature I guess. At least I like it.

I'm not entirely sure cause I didn't play 3.0 that much, but in previous versions it worked without problems. So if you really play with normal wars, it might be a bug.

I might be mistaken it with other mods I play atm, but isn't there a checkbox in the mod options about lords returning from exile? I assume it applies to kings, too.

Yes, only possibilty is to load an old save

You can't change your own culture, only your kingdom's culture. You need to be king for that ofc

In static wars lords are unable join other factions

I had the same quest, given by the guildmaster at the Arbor. Didn't work when I took the ferry but I think it worked when I took a ship to another port at the city. (it might have been the other way around, I don't remember. Maybe it only worked with an own ship, but it worked somehow) 

part of the dialogue:

"One of the merchants here is looking for herdsmen to take his cattle to the market"

You probably killed the 2 guys instead of capturing them!?

There are random events with priests (faith of the seven and red priest I think, don't know about Old Gods) that want join your party and you can hire one when you build a settlement. Don't think you can recruit them directly but I might be wrong.

yeah those ironborn axe throwers are pretty tough. You could set player damage to 1/2 or 1/4 so you won't get one shotted or one hitted

Didn't try it in 3.0 but in previous versions the recruits changed after a while.

You can talk to your spy master (or master of whispers or however he is called) to change your kingdom's culture.

Any lord that joins your faction also gives you right to rule

every time I try to get Dire wolf or Dongo and Wun Wun all I get is a trophy.

You need to be of northern culture for the dire wolf, and of Free Folk culture for the giants

I found Wun-Wun and Dongo north of the wall, the dire wolf in the wolf's wood and Dacey Mormont in a tavern.

But I can't find Thoros of Myr, does anyone know where he is? Or is he hanging around in a random tavern?
