A few people have asked if I plan on making AWoIaF for Bannerlord. My first reaction was no way. Not after all the work involved in creating the current version. Though if I was able to gain enough interest and help then its something I would definitely like to do.
I have already started using donation money to buy new items, scene props and armours that are very high in quality and can be used in Bannerlord too. The current version for Warband is only a couple of releases away from being what I feel as complete. (Version 10 most probably).
So with all this in mind I would be grateful if anyone here would like to offer their support and services for the creation of AWoIaF for Bannerlord. We already know it will use C++ so anyone that has knowledge of this language will be very useful. Any sceners and 3D/2D artists would also be very helpful.
Likewise, if anything can be created now, it can be used in the current version and the new. That also goes for any donations made now which will be used with Bannerlord in mind. The new mod will be created in the same vein as the current one, with an emphasis on Sandbox and community interaction.

I feel I have learnt a lot making the current mod so making a new mod should feel much smoother and easier. Using the Brytenwalda module system for a start was a big mistake and has cost me huge amounts of hours changing pretty much everything. We also already have most of the groundwork and any research complete for locations, names, lords, relations etc etc.

One thing I can guarantee though, is I wont be able to spend any where near as much time on Bannerlord as I have for this one, so this is why I will need your help.

Haha, no. I can say for certain the Moonbrothers bandit lair has no scene, so this is why that happens. Any other please let me know so I can create a scene for them.

Beta 8 / Re: Health bug and Perma-Death

Companions don't have perma-death. That is part of the bug which has been present since Brytenwalda. The companions will come back eventually though..

You can still intervene and do the usual quests etc to make factions war.  It needs fully testing to see how it plays out. So far in my tests its kept factions from across the waters warring with each other, but although pacts etc do start , it takes a while for much to happen.

The tavern bug is fixed for the next update :)

The invisible tree trunks I think are due to lods I added to try and improve performance. Ive decided it looks crap, so ive removed most of the lods now. It just means all trees render fully no matter what the difference. I wish there was a way to enable an option to use lods or not, though it seems impossible with just modifying the module files :(.

A World of Ice and Fire / Re: Moddb Mod of the year

Nothing has ever been 'promised'. The mod has all of the items received from the GoT team already in it, though that equates to about 1/50th of the items needed.

If you compare my module files to brytenwalda, pretty much every line has been changed. That goes for most of native too so I don't really understand all this Brytenwalda reskinned malarkey?

Heres an example from winmerge comparing my scripts to Brytenwalda 1.41. The yellow is what has been changed.

That file has 88474 lines in it and thats one file out of 30+ so you do the maths :).

The file is in the download, you may need to re-download the file from moddb. Otherwise download the latest dev build from here and use that, it should be the same and should work.

The first issue sounds like you have turned the tog text off.

For the second, any chance you can get a screenshot?

Help & Support / Re: Game running slow and laggy

Hello Makedonce

You should probably set max frame rate to 60 (or maybe even 30) and turn shadows off for now. The next patch ive been focusing on performance and bug fixes and ive noticed quite a big improvement on my computer. So things are getting better.

The forums are complicated because I was getting hundreds of bots join everyday causing a huge amount of havoc.

Are you playing on a mac?

Make sure game_variables.txt and variables.txt are in your modules folder.

Delete font_data from the mods data folder.

If all else fails, re-download and re-check.

Getting hit from behind is a critical hit submod that was already in the mod. You can check and see if that the issue, though I havnt noticed what you've mentioned before. A silly Q maybe, but this happened on a new game?

I shall check myself while I'm trying to figure out this player killed bug..
