Help & Support / Re: How to obtain Longclaw?

Good point Egg, haven't tested whether you can send lords of the Nights Watch to the Wall. What an oversight by me!

Will test it now, edit this post with result later.

Edit: Only managed to capture one of the several lords I "defeated" in battle, and of course I could not send him to the wall. Problem is that it was a lord I had already sent to the Wall before, so I can't be 100% certain on which part of the interaction prevents it, but it is safe to assume that you indeed cannot send people already at the Wall to the Wall. Silly of me.

To add to this: Killing a lord will give drastic punishments with every faction and lord in the game, so it is not recommended as you will find yourself at war with the entire map. The easier way of doing it is by having King's Landing first, which allows you the option of sending them to the Wall instead (same process, but a new dialogue option). This will make them vassals of the Nights Watch, and only gives negative relations with lords from their original faction, and it still gives you their items.

Closer to one week than a month. You should test it but I believe 1 weeks is enough, and if not it is 2 at max.

You can bribe a lord or simply join any other lords retinue for a week. It should pretty much reset all relations to 0 once you leave his army.

Help & Support / Re: How to get Valyrian Arakh ?

Hello player, I might have a solution to your problem.

If you can capture said Lady Korra you will be able to kill her or send her to the Wall (if you own King's Landing) for high treason, both have some penalties, killing being much worse than sending to the Wall will piss off all the factions and lords. This will grant you her items. I believe this is still how Heartsbane is gotten, as well as various unique armours. Just talk to her when she is your prisoner and choose the "High treason" option followed by either sending her to the Wall or killing her.

If she can't be captured you have to edit the item. Use an item editor like Morgh's, find "valyrian_arakh" and under flags check the box next to "Always loot". I have never tested this myself to be honest, so it may not work, but it is worth a try! If my guesswork is correct this option will make you receive the item every time you defeat her, which might be a bit strong if do it several times for money and arming your companions, so perhaps edit it back after defeating her once?

Best of luck,

Check Modding Area > Tutorials, and if you don't find anything relevant check the forums over at Talesworld. Remember that you can create your own settlement. After being upgraded it can hold 250 garrisoned troops and an infinite amount of prisoners (though it tells you not to place lords there, and I haven't tested how easily they escape). Timber is usually found in abundance up north, tools towards the Westerlands.
