It's possible that it's the amout of unassigned fiefs, the number is red (15), although that might just be cosmetic, if I remember correctly, the amout of injured friendly units is red as well. However, it would be nice if there was a way to tell - adding these features doesn't make the game any more realistic if the people aren't acting like in reality - when you piss someone off, you have many ways to find out why, and you don't have to be a monarch to do so :) In the mod unfortunately, it turns it into a game of Chinese whispers, where you can only keep guessing if something you'll do will appease the unsatisfied.

Hah, I wish that was happening to me - yeah, it seems like it's happening every month or so. Well, that's the last straw for me for this mod. I've spend over 50 hours playing it so far, but having most of my subjects not so slowly turned against me when I can't find out how to counter that (talking to them gives me no options, or any indications what could be wrong) is more than I can stomach. I'm guessing it's another incompatibility nonsense similar to the religion, it's clearly something these lords dislike about me, but the mod won't tell me and I can't be bothered to edit my save files to change their approval of me, that's not reasonable, and neither is having to pick up lords until I find someone who miraculously doesn't have a problem with me. I do like the mod despite it's difficulty, but it could do without bombs like this. At some point, it's just too much and it's not worth my time.

Well, mine still counts that there are 0 converted people even with religious buildings (in my case trees) being in every fief I could build them.

Absolutely not, this just happens on it's own, regularly, like I've said, it looks similar to how I remember it looked when you had a lord without fief, they would regularly get angry at you.

Most of the lords are honorable, so when I give out fiefs, only one of them gets mad I believe - it's not related to that.

Help & Support / Re: [3.0] Can't find fine velvet

Worst case scenario, I've found out that I had better luck getting velvet after raiding random villages then finding it in towns, so you might try that. Alternatively, you can set up an enterprise making velvet and get it from that. At least that is guaranteed, it just takes some time as well.

Another disaster has struck my kingdom and it(s really making me consider finally putting this mod to rest for now - I have aquired few lords, and made few of my companions lords as well - obviously, I gave all of them a fief or two. However, now I'm losing -6 relationship with most of them (not all) every now and then. So far, it has happened three times and I don't know what the hell is causing that. It looks like the message you normally get when a lord doesn't have any fiefs in regular Warband. And of course, I have no idea what's causing that, and if I can do something about it. Any advices?

Ok, so it turns out it's a bit more complicated and I still don't understand how it's supposed to work. Here is what has been happening so far - my character worships Old Gods, so I've planted trees whenever it was possible. After doing that in my capital where my minister resides, the popularity has slowly started going up, but when I've done the same in King's Landing, nothing has changed, it's still slowly doing down. As far as I can tell, taxes have no effect on that, and planting the tree in villages belonging to the towns or castles does nothing as well. And with castles, I can't even build a religious building at all, so I am screwed there.

In general, this mechanism seems lackluster and unfinished in it's current form, and there just isn't enough information to go on. The religion in general also seems to be broken. You can ask your Master of Laws about religion and how many people have we converted, and he always tells me it's zero, even if it clearly says in the town that it's now worshipping entirely different religion. If I'm still missing something, I just don't know what else there is - unless King's Landing is bugged in that regard. Oh, and the negative relationship can certainly go further below than -6 - I've started with 0 in King's Landing, now I'm at -10

I wish the mod creator would enlighten us...

So I've secured few towns and castles to myself, but I have an annoying "issue" with the populace, they are slowly disliking me - it goes slow, something like -1 per 2 days, but it is evidently happening. I though that it could possibly be the taxes, so I've lowered them, but that hasn't changed a thing. What else is there? Could it be that those settlements aren't of my religion, or something else? Nobody has burned any of my villages, but I've had settlements besieged many times, could that have an effect? I know this mod has some rather "interesting" features, so I am concerned that it's something I won't be able to influence. I am absolutely not motivated by improving things if I know that it's just a matter of time when whatever good I've done for the settlement gets turned against me for reasons I am not aware of.

EDIT: I'm a schmart guy and after some more searching, I've found out that it is indeed the religion and that I need to start converting the heathens to my religion, so fair enough, a bit enigmatic, but I've figured it out in the end.

I've managed to find a video featuring the quest, because I don't think I'll be lucky enough to get the quest any time soon - especially since Guild Masters in this mod tend to quickly run out of quests, which is rather tedious.

Eh, I had same problem in every mode I played.

I've never played a mod with stand alone towns on islands, so it never was an issue.

All right, so it's possible that all the super fast Lannister boys I've been encountering have maximum pathfinding and really good horse? I was exaggerating when I've said that it doesn't affect their speed at all, but I am absolutely not used to AI with armies over 250 men being faster than me with 50 men and 7 pathfinding. I guess it's time for me to finally get a good horse.

Standard cattle delivery quest from a guildmaster, except he requested me to deliver it to one of the island cities that I can only get to on a ship. So I sailed there, and of course the cattle herd couldn't follow me, it actually got stuck on water, unable to move. If possible, it would be reasonable to exclude the island towns from this type of quest, because as far as I'm concerned, there is no way to get the herd across the sea. (It would still suck if I had to deliver cattle from one continent to another, since I would be stuck as well, but at least with islands it's 100% impossible, unless I'm missing something.)

This is unique to this mod, and should be well known to anyone who has played it. Is there something I'm missing? Even with pathfinding 10, I can't match the speed of some of the lords, some of them have armies over 400 and it doesn't affect their speed at all. Is that "designed" to just make the experience frustrating? I don't mind most of the things this mod does, but having enemies that I can't really avoid because I can't run away is just awful.

If an enemy has bigger army than me, it makes sense to me that he can't easily catch up, and at the same time it gives me tactical advantage of being able to avoid larger armies and get to places I wouldn't be able to reach with larger army. But in this mod, the only tactics aside from savescumming is to just not travel into enemy lands, or risk quick punishment, which is hardly tactical - the moment I see anyone, I need to start running away from them, hoping they haven't spotted me, because if they did, they can catch me no matter what. Is this intended to just make me feel more pathetic unless I get larger army?
