the moust important feature is; it affects the relations between you and the villages, castles and towns you own. If you own a town where the majority is from a diffrent religion, your relation suffers until you build a temple of your religion.
does it increase relation too? if so, Then how many points?
5 every week or month i guess. it will keep going up.

You should make the vale knights into a different group and tell them to use sidearms after their initial charge, however I usually see them change weapons on their own. Maybe you should make combat ai smarter. I find Vale knights to be worth the upgrade.
Are you using V4.1?
I have noticed weird thing with knights of different factions.
Stormland Knight use maces but those who use maces have them since the army is in field and they don't switch to Lances and vice versa for those who have lances/ Banners of House Baratheon.
Red Clock knights, I haven't seen them ever using sword in field battle !
Reach knights, Sometimes they switch, Few times I saw a knight horse slayed and as he was falling down, He switched to sword.
Vale knights also don't switch to swords.
Didn't check dragonstone or Riverland knight yet.

Of course he is not using 4.1 since his post is from May 01, 2018

but There is a strange thing in 4.1
Yesterday in a field battle I had plenty of Stormland Knights and Reach Mounted Serggents while 3-4 Reach Knights,, I issued command of Switch to Sidearm and Stormland Knights switched tho Reach Knights did not. My troops were in two types, Knights and Cavalry .

I wish that there was a melee unit capable of fighting in close quarters with the wights.
It's usually game over when they reach your battle line/arrows get depleted.

Thenns could have obsidian spears, as well as the Night's Watch if we consider the fact that the Children of the Forest used to supply them with daggers each year until they went into hiding.
Castle Black should still have a few of those in their arsenal.

You could add obsidian spears or daggers to their inventory via morgh's editor.

Companions with obsidian weapons are good enough to kill the small group in the beginning, but no chance against 700 of them ofc.

That's actually a great idea.
I will edit the Night's Watch infantry line to carry obsidian spears and axes, makes them a lot more useful as well.
Not even armored units require a well placed 2nd hit. Wights have fcking axes and there are lvls are 30, 30,30 and their proficiencies are 600+

How can you tell what type of lord they are when they wish to join your faction?

How do you tell if they are honourable/martial etc

Go to Master of Whispers, Require information about lord, Select Faction, Select Name.
Do not recruit Lords with reputation " Quarrelsome, Cunning, Martial, pitiless " etc.. They are a problem.
Recruit lords with reputation "Good-natured, Upstanding" I guess there are more like these whicha re actually good. go through dictionary meaning and you'll find your choice for safe and honorable future ;)

for future reference, helping them with quests, supplying them troops and such things can help them keep going, in my playthrough I always sell them prisioners, sometimes even donate units, and they almost crushed the freefolk at 150+ days.

Yeah, that's how I usually do... Everytime when I get some crap units, or some units that doesn't fit in my party(like enemy kingdom units) I allways go and give them to NW, just like my prisoners... There is no point to release them when I can buff up NW for view days.... In most of my plays they wipe out Freefolk ;)

As for your problem... I wonder is there a chanse to rise them again by taking King's Landing and sending a bunch of lords to the wall..?
Go to your minister and see if you can still send an emissary to Nights Watch, Then check if you can hand over a fief via that emissary. If you can, Go and declare war of Free Folk, Defeat their army in field ( like if they are accompanying marshal, That way it's easy, No more searching or shitload of battles ). Take out their few castles, Man them with 100-150 at least normal performing units and hand over fiefs to nights Watch.

I made a patrol by taking units out of garrison and now that stupid patrol is engaging deer Herds and What's even more stumbling is humanoid Deer.

In previous versions it was possible, I would suspect it would still be possible now.

In Version 3 I formed an alliance with Jeor Mormont and the Nights Watch with my rep with the Nights Watch and Mormont himself both at 100. You may just need to get Jon's approval up higher.

I've also noticed in other versions if your Nights Watch Rep is at 100, when I declare war or war is declared upon me, the Nights Watch declare war against my enemies. I've seen the Nights Watch conquer Beyond The Wall and half of the Vale.
Waaaaaattttt? The vale is f'ing much stronger, Nights watch is only good against free folk and Wight Walkers ( Fire arrows). In V4.1 They barely managed to retake Shadow tower and then lost again. Only Lord commander has medium armies, Most barely even hit 100.

Does anybody know what is the strongest sword you can obtain without killing a lord? I have Stannis as a prisoner, I backed up my save and killed him just to try out Lightbringer and it was way better than my current sword, I want to get something like that without making every lord and every kingdom hate me.
Blackfyre, I have used morgh to put all valyrian weapons in my inventory before  starting game.
