Dev build extreme lagging when I approach enemy army, I expect that this is normal for the build, since 9.9 was much more smooth.

Yes, exactly. I have done about half of them just by taking info from the wiki, mainly the first few lines of the wiki for the description.

Hi Produno, when you say you need descriptions for all the regions, do you mean in the menu for the faction like how you have the North on moddb? Because I can write down some nice descriptions including some story points if you'd like.

OK, another little update. After spending the last 4 days (all of my days off work and the missus is NOT happy :/) getting things working I have had a few troubles.

So far I have all the refuge (now changed to build your own settlement/castle) in. I just need scenes *wink wink*
I have the camp menus in. I just need descriptions for all the regions in westeros and essos.
I have the ship buying presentation in (still needs work).
The town menu presentation is causing me a massive headache. I cant get the damned thing working correctly. I can remove it and add the ship menu to the main menu, but we already have too many menus in towns. Using VC's means I can add all the items I need, including the ones I had to remove from places like Kings Landing.

I can add stuff like the second outfit, though I'm not sure if its needed.


Then I just need to find replacements for all the VC items, ships etc.

Have you tried creating scenes before? They require no coding knowledge. Just start the game with the ceat option and windowed mode active and then enter any scene and press ctrl+E. Then you can alter it.

I wish I could help with anything else but testing but unfortunately I am no coder or have any programming background. I can write up deep conversations with meaning for AI characters to add more immersion into the game, or anything else you might need help with

We can take any code from VC, but no assets or scenes can be used.

With that in mind, if anyone has played VC, I need 5 large scenes for the lair's. I have managed to add this feature but I don't have the time to create the scenes. Of course I could eventually but I still need to get the ship battles and every thing working.

I have also successfully added the VC menus/presentations. Albeit not yet fully integrated so I still need to work on that.

It's taken me pretty much 3 full day to get this far and I still have lots to do. So any help with the scenes would be great!


I also need a description for each territory in the seven kingdoms and for each kingdom in essos. Anyone that has seen the camp menu in VC will know why.

Those are great news indeed. Can you get anything from vc? marriage and relations with girls are better/more complex on VC, for example.

A quick update.


I'm currently adding a tonne of stuff from VC.

I started by just wanting to add the sea travel and naval battles, seeing as the current ones in the mod are pretty bugged, it needed to be sorted at some point. Though it's a huge amount of work separating all the parts needed, so ive ended having to add more scripts and triggers etc, which then creates more work because we cant use assets from VC, we then have other scripts that are in-needed because these new scripts handle it in a different way, extra triggers are needed so ive had merge other triggers we have so I don't have tonnes of triggers that do the same thing slightly different, then all the other stuff VC doesn't have that we do I have to merge, like PBOD etc... so everything kind of spiralled out of control.

So long story short: I now have shit tonne of work to do to get all this added correctly. I possibly wont have another build for a couple of weeks, but if all goes well I shall need it testing afterwards. If it doesn't, then well, ive saved the previous version of the module and I will have to just revert back.

If anyone wants to create sea scenes or anything else you think may help then please let me know.

Any chance you can post the other bugs you reported here. It may be that I attempted to fix them but they still have some issues. Unfortunately not being able to alter the source code (of the main game) sometimes means work around shave to be created, and not all of them work as intended, some of these bugs may be such issues. Or there could be multiple layers to each bug, meaning I fixed one somewhere which then highlights a bug a bit further on in the same process (the strings could be one example of this)

I'm making a list of al villages, great halls and courtyard, but it takes time, obviously. There many locations to verify and it will pronbably take more than a week to bring a complete report. I've already made a list of Free Folk, Night's Watch and the North but I want to post all bugs together. Please, be patient :).

Major lag only in really big battles where troops exceed 500+ especially sieges I dont think it lags because of # of troops, sure this probably contributes to it, but even when I have only around 150 ish troops it lags badly until the very last enemy soldier is dead, as soon as the last soldier is dead it returns to normal. But even when one soldier is alive it lags as hard as it does as if they still have like 200 men.
