Or do a search on google of your error and include mount and blade warband in the search.

 :-[  Same problem.  Have version v.0.5.4 plus hotfix.  I can start the tutorial and quick fight but, once I create a character just as the poster above, crash C++ etc.

Does it happen before the character creation (where you create your face) or just before you start a new game (before you enter the first scene)?

extract the contents, then place them into your modules/A World of ice and fire/Resources.


I should have probably put them into the correct folder so you could extract straight into your module folder, but i forgot..  :-[
