If you can afford it, there is an easy way to get the strong bow. Hire Princess Khiarai, and take it off her. Then fire her again because she does not like Hagen the Beautiful.

There's a mod for the cheat menu? That's new to me, thank you for pointing that out for me!  ;D

I've always encountered bandit leaders wielding strongbows, even with looting up to 6 and a minimal sized party and a good amount of farming. Came up with nothing, any other ways to get it? Can't use the cheat menu for some reason, so that option is out the window. Would the wandering merchant have it by the luck of the draw? Would be grateful on any feedback. :)
