For some reason the game only shows that I have no more room when there is plenty when recruiting them.  Is my save corrupted?  Everything else seems OK. 

Never mind, went back to a previous save and could recruit them.  Bad save and many game days lost.

It seems that after you have your own Kingdom, you are not able to recruit mercenary armies even thought you have space.

At least, that is what I have encountered.

I don't have this problem I've tested with and without my own faction, I can recruit all the mercenary companies.
