Moving cows across the sea

I have to move 82 cows from Highwarden to Braavos. I moved to King's Landings (with the cows near me) and I took a ship to Braavos but the cows didn't follow me. Do I have to buy a boat to move the fucking cows??

Something similar just happened with me whean I was playing version 1.3. I had to lead a caravan from Ashford to Volantis, but the merchants didn't want to follow me throught the sea until I bought my own ship. I mean, Why should I buy an expensive ship only to complete quests given by the guild masters? If you have to buy a ship only for this, then this kind of quest becomes useless (except for the ones when you have to kill bandits ).

Don't accept them unless you know you can reach the destination.

Irl you wouldn't accept a logistics contract if you didn't have the lorries to move the goods?? lol
