Yeah it will not work unless you buy the game from either tw forums or steam to acquire a legit code.

So I found this, thought it looked cool. I downloaded it, played it, everything seemed fine. I finished character customization and click continue to start. That's when it begins. I had to switch to windowed mode because of how many RGL warnings popped up. I couldn't play until I clicked "Ok" on them. So, I thought maybe it downloaded incorrectly. I re-downloaded it, now it doesn't work at all. Main screen looks like this: https://gyazo.com/7f2b832aa49c6f59154ad433f26a63f8               I noticed it said it won't work with a pirated copy. I googled "mount and blade warband free serial code". Does that mean I have a pirated copy? I downloaded it from the taleworlds website though.
