Game Crashing on Initial Load

Every time I launch MnB it crashes about halfway through the initial load (where it says "Game of Thrones" on the screen), and I get an RGL Error pop up saying "Unable to open file: Modules/A World of Ice and Fire - Beta 9.5/Resource/wildling_scene_props.brf".

But I've looked through the files multiple times and I can't seem to find any files by that name? Do I need to redownload the mod? Or is something else wrong?

That file needs to be there. So yeah, you may need to re-download and make sure all the files are present.

Lol well I redownloaded the mod and tried it without the patch and got an RGL error saying "Unable to open file: Modules/A World of Ice and Fire - Beta 9.5/Resources/textures.brf" (again, can't find a file by that name at all) so I downloaded the patch and replaced everything I was supposed to replace in hopes that would fix it. But it didn't.

So I deleted both again and started over. Redownloaded the mod yet again, tried it again without the update, and again I was getting the same error. Downloaded the patch, and yet again, same error.

When I first downloaded everything I was at least getting the Game of Thrones loading screen, but now I'm not even getting that. I'd love to try this mod, but I just can't seem to get it to work. Oh well I guess..

Are you using a legal copy of warband updated to 1.168?

Yeah I'm using the Steam version.

Maybe try checking the integrity of files. You should also keep the WinRAR file and check if it contains the files it says are missing. You will know if its a download issue or extraction issue then.

Alright so I finally got it to work. There was an extraction issue (I was using a 32bit version of WinRAR on a 64bit OS and it was causing quite a few files to not transfer at all).

Thanks for all the help man. I would've never gotten this much help with the other GoT mod.
