Lannister vs Westerland Troops

How do you recruit Lannister troops as compared to the Westerland troops? Also are Westerland troops supposed to have those helmets for the purpose of this mod? And is the troop tree updated by any chance?

You can recruit them only if you are the lord of casterly rock.
