Has this mechanic been changed in the latest versions?
If irc there was a real big relation hit which makes it quiet impossible to play the normal way, you were basically an outlaw after it.
Has this been changed reduced or somewhat altered?
I can't find anything in the changelogs...

I don't think this has been changed, it's still a viable mechanic of the game as far as I'm aware.
