Free folk did indeed had a very small area and not many lords.

I actualy imprisoned all Free folk lords after taking fiefs and the faction ceased to exist, but with Iron Islands I took a different approach, took their lands for other purposes - so I let every single lord be free after a battle.

Now they are all but one imprisoned by North - for some of their lords it even states in "Lord Relation" report, that they belong to my faction, but once I freed them from prison, they were Ironborn once again (some kind of a bug it seems).

They won't cease to exist somehow, I'm still waiting for that statement and that all lords have renounced their allegiance with Iron Islands, so I can set up my own faction troop's loadout with Troop Editor.

Have fun,
Triglet

i don't think its game breaking, it's just the fact that the iron islands goal is to raid not very populated places and they have a lot of vessels (compared to the free folk) that pretty much go all over the map where as the free folk have a small area to roam.

I've a question regarding destroying factions and possible game breaking..

I have destroyed Faction Free folk, and it stated, that they are destroyed a bit after I took all of their fiefs. But same has not happened with Iron Islands; are they vital for game's storyline?

Is it game breaking, to destroy certain factions?

Have fun,
