lag on battle map? (version 9)

Hey recently downloaded version 9 of the mod but im getting really bad freezes every time i enter a battle. I've played version 7 in the past without such issues so i'm not sure what the problem is. town/inns all run very smoothly.

What mount and blade warband version are you using?
In case you're using latest 1.168 version, write your computer specs.
If your computer is not powerful enough, big battles can be a problem, because battle size is 600. So if that's the problem, change it to a minor value.
