Bugs or Features?

1- Can't find armored gloves or boots to purchase anywhere.
2- All 2H swords seem to do little piercing damage, and they are somehow slower than many pole weapons.
3- My shields are getting destroyed by a few arrows. IMO axes were suposed to destroy shields, not arrows.
