I have changed the current Beta 10 to Beta 9.8. Once released this will be Beta 9.9. The reason being, I would like to fix up everything before moving onto the extra features. Lately I don't have much time to work on the mod so may end up cutting some features from the final build and adding them later as patches or DLC.

My main concern atm is changing anything that is left to correctly represent the ASOIAF universe and fixing any bugs or inconsistencies. I shall be uploading a build to this post later for people to try. But if you do download then please make sure you post as much feedback and as many bugs as possible to this thread. This is very important so they next release can be as bug free as possible.

Beta 10 will therefore have everything changed to correctly fit the setting. Then when time allows I will start working on dlc for the mod, which will include the big features I had planned.

Removed some un-needed items and textures, updated others.
'Unify' UI textures and backgrounds.
Added higher quality Westerland banner textures.
Added new scene props including commissioned Weirwood trees.
Adjusted Veteran Unsullied armour so they don't fall into the heavy armour category.
Buffed all upper tier soldiers. This fixes problems with some soldiers having less skills than lower ranked soldiers due to armour penalties.
Created faction specific trumpeters and distributed them into lords armies.
Removed religious troops from lords armies.
Made some more optimisations to meshes and shaders. Added lods etc.
Spellchecked more files.
Added 5 new trainers to certain locations to recruit faction specific troops.
Added a new companion - Dialogue created by Kokalo.
Added 10x new helmets and 1x sword made by Kraggrim - donated by robertidaniel.
Adjusted length of Longclaw.
Adjusted length of Ice.
Valyrian swords now do bonus to shields.
Added some new companions for some lords.
Adjusted some character creation stats.
Adjusted the amount of Wildfire you can purchase.
Buffed Wildfire slightly.
Adjusted the after battle options to be dependant on religion.
Re-written the after battle options if fighting in a lords army.
Buffed the wildling tower shield very slightly and made it much larger.
Thenns now have their own army composition and troop tree.
Added some extra music.
Replaced interior and prison scene for Antlers.
Added VC code for Hornmen so they actually do something now. - animation still needed.
Added new logo created by Kokalo.
Added 6 more castles.
Added 6 more villages.
Adjusted the cost of troop upgrades. lower level cavalry may be slightly higher to upgrade but all higher levels are much much cheaper to upgrade.
Adjusted angle of every map icon.
Balanced all headwear.
Thenn peasants are recruitable via certain villages.
Changed the way party size works - properties owned by the player now increase max party size.
Added new scene for Iron Mine.
Added new scene for Gold Mine.
Added Shaunremo's skybox mod.
Added weather script to the rest of the mission templates. Weather will be applied to every scene now.
Improved fps in Kings Landing.
Re-wrote harbour code and added scenes to each.
Added 99 new custom battle scenes. No more mountains on flat terrain.
Changed the way bribing the village elder works. This cannot be done if you have low honour. It will also not revert you to the 'supplies' menu.
Removed the quest Old Valyria until it can be bug fixed.
Gave all major cities extra garrisoned troops. This will give the player a better challenge when trying to take key locations.


Fixed Flint's Finger scene.
Fixes to Ten Towers scene.
Gave House Targaryen the correct banner.
Fixed an issue with the quest 'Bastards and Broken Things' giving negative honour and relations with neutral faction.
Fixed Dragonstone issue with the Prison and moved passages for the Arena.
Fixed exploit in Winterfell Arena.
Fixed issues with relations between the North and Iron Islands.
Fixed some units missing gloves - all top tiered units are now guaranteed to wear gloves.
Fixed more issues found with some meshes.
Fixed issue with some parties travelling on the ocean not using a ship.
Fixed various options not working.
Fixed beards clipping through some armours/helmets.
Fixed Crakehall scene - entering prison.
Fixed issues with agents wearing incorrect clothes at weddings.
Fixed instances of transgender dressing.
Fixed incorrect multiplayer quick battle troops.
Fixed incorrect shaders for some materials in the Red Keep.
Fixed some entry points in Thenn scene.
Gave Celina Belmore the correct father.
Correctly gave Barrowton to Lady Barbrey Dustin.

Okay, I have an early bug report as of now. Some more significant than others. Pictures included.

Some redtext in the prelude, plus that ugly white stain in the bottom-left.   - FIXED

Some Northern characters wearing Lannister armor (yes, this is a new game, and yes my Warband is up-to-date).    - FIXED

King Joffrey standing somewhere not near the Iron Throne.

Some Brytenwalda helmets that you may want to remove.    - DONE

Why is Manfred Dondarrion on the Iron Throne now? Also, this message keeps repeating. (Apologies if hard to see).

"I saw what your men done." Not sure if this is a spelling mistake or accented dialogue, but it feels wrong all the same. This one's up to you.   - FIXED

This is another insignificant one. This is a custom battlefield I fought in. The area is in the Riverlands, so I just kind of expected it to be more green in this sense. Not a big deal, really. But if it can be helped, I figured I might as well report it.

Some redtext

I like that Theon Greyjoy is Robb Stark's companion instead of a Lord of the Iron Islands, but I don't think he has his "Reek" look just yet.   - FIXED

Just more of a suggestion; I think you could add more town-ish scenery with all this extra room in Winterfell's courtyard. Or just remove it, whatever works.  - You shouldnt actually be able to get to this part, it should be hidden. Mind showing me places that makes it accesable so i can 'block' those?

Some peasants guarding the walls rather than Northern soldiers (pic taken at Last Hearth, not sure if this occurs elsewhere).   - I cant replicate this bug and your picture seems to have disappeared. Sorry about that, had it on private by accident. You should be able to see it now.

-I'm not crazy about the idea of Lord Edric Dayne. I know he is the current lord of Starfall, but at this time he is only 12 and accompanying the Brotherhood Without Banners. Just a personal preference.   - Any other suggestions? Not at the moment, but I will be updating this report as I go on.

Aside from this so far, it's looking good. I love some of the new armors you added such as the Bolton sallet.

After hours and hours of your Mod in the v. 9.6 i didnt had the problem with Old valyria. "Removed the quest Old Valyria until it can be bug fixed."  what kind of bug is it? - i know, that the menue allways and repeatly appears ( leave this place or claim it) but i just clicked on "leave it as it is" the second time after rebuilding it. so.. thats a solution for me.

i guess you just need to add a new option like "just leave" or something.

p.s. finally i made it to your forum. and yes, i didnt wrote the "a". lol

I played 9.8 for few hours or so and this is what I got so far:

Quest description broken.                                                                           - FIXED

This armour.                                                                                                       - FIXED

Already reported, but I encountered Dondarrion kingship too.

This is armour merchant in Weeping Town. He and his colleague in Dragonstone seems to have some sort of obsession over this black burgonet's since 0.6 if not earlier. To them it's like butter to Swadians.  -SHOULD BE FIXED

Some additional text, that should not be here (this  comes up in every battle).               - FIXED

...and here comes most common of all the bugs. This started to show up regularly after I accept Robb's mission to clean farmstead.   - The picture is the same as the above?

There is more pretenders, but I yet to encounter traveler who knows any other than Valarr.      - He is currently the only pretender active for now.

The Night's Watch offers a mercenary contract option. Makes it sound like when you swear their oath, it's not for life. (Also, as a side note, I would try to make their lords include a freelancer option only AFTER you tell Jeor Mormont you wish to join the Watch).

Oldtown not only seems abandoned, but has buggy spots. Also, if you could improve the city structures as well, that would be nice, since it is one of the most advanced towns in Westeros. Missing that famous hightower as well. Also, if you can, the books also mentions of a statue of the Targaryen King Daeron I.
"In the city of Oldtown, there is a statue of King Daeron I astride a tall stone horse, his sword lifted toward Dorne." A Feast for Crows, Chapter 45, Samwell V.


Oh, and in some castles/towns such as this (such as the Dreadfort), when exiting the Lord's hall into the courtyard, it will take you directly outside the city/castle, so you have to come in again. I don't have the full list of all the locations this occurs in, but I will keep an eye out. I would advise other players do the same.

I feel like while the new Bolton sallet is nice, it still looks rather jagged, and not smooth like in the TV show. Could this be fixed at all?

Greywater Watch is famous for being in a swamp-like environment, always seeming to move from one spot to another. Granted, whilst this looks swamp-ish, it still looks very much like a Brytenwalda fort. Maybe i'm just being nitpicky at this point, so ill let you take a look and make your call.

-I took another look at the men of Greywater Watch, and I think that there could be room to have the crannogmen be a special House troops. They are known for dressing in poor swamp-like attire and fighting with "bronze knives, frog spears, and round leather shields." What they lack for in armor, they can possibly make up for in weapon proficiency, no?
You could either do that OR
make them travel in small bands like the mountain clans (their relationships with other kingdoms coinciding with that of the North as well), and have them placed close to the Riverlands, should any Westerland Lords come North, because Robb stated that "I've sent word to Howland Reed, Father's old friend at Greywater Watch. If the Lannisters come up the Neck, the crannogmen will bleed them every step of the way." A Game of Thrones, Chapter 55, Catelyn VIII.

-Another idea is a possible freelancer challenge-quest; I know the Kingsguard during the reign of Robert Baratheon were mostly trash, but I still feel that maybe there should be an option when talking to the King (whoever rules King's Landing if it's not Joffrey) to join their Kingsguard. The King can then only accept you if your strengths/agility and/or your proficiencies in certain (or all) weapons are high enough. This is just me spit-balling here, so let me know what you think.

Again, after on-and-off playthroughs of the new version, this is all I could find for now. PM me if any of the details are still unclear. I am also available through steam (same name, Legendarian). And again, nice work so far man.  ;D

Well, I think we all have to wait for version 9.9 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

After version 9.9 is released, I'm gonna make test with all the sieges and create a topic only for the bugs I eventually find. Maybe it could be useful for the final version of "A World of ice and Fire".

Any suggestions where else i can upload??
