Ideally you should do as Riven says, although you could port the terrain borders and skyboxes over. Note you would also need the skyboxes file in the data folder, you would also need to find the correct texture files and transfer them over too. Probably not a 5 min job.

some people has been having problems using a 4.2 save on 4.3. Produno answered that if you want to continue with a 4.2 save, you must use 4.2.

Okay so 4.3 is out, but I already have a nice 4.2 game going on, are there any files I can take from the update to my current installation that wont break my game? Like I see you changed trees and terrain, what can I safely port, any idea?
