The Wildlings have taken The Wall. Some Night's Watch lords are being held captive there. I sneak in, go the prison, beat the guard for the keys. I go into the prison, talk to the captive lords, then leave the prison. All the Wildling guards spawn way, way down on the ground below the wall, obviously totally inaccessible. The quest is broken and cannot be completed. Lords held at the wall cannot be rescued.
