How do you install hot fix 2?

Hey so i copied and replaced the files from hotfix 2 into Beta 7 final folder and when i load the game it gets to title screen, i load my save then the game crashes and says something like 'exceeding 47 files, Maximum 46.'. Did i install it wrong? halp

Hotfix 2 is not save compatible with beta 7.
